Rose pink flowers with a coppery brown cone. These gorgeous flowers open in profusion from mid summer. The flowers open with saturated colour and then fade to soft pink with age. The flower heads are flat, instead of recurred like many other selections, so the blooms look bigger and brighter.
The foliage of Echinacea ‘Magnus Superior’ has dark green leaves. If you allow the last of the flower heads to stand and the seed cones will remain decorative to the end.
If you dead head the blooms regularly they will keep on flowering.
Echinacea or Coneflowers grow best in full sun and prosper in any well drained soil. Echinacea ‘Magnus Superior’ becomes dry tolerant as they establish.
Echinacea ‘Magnus Superior’ make good cut flowers.
